Love the new adhesive remover!

My Problem

I had a 2013 Macbook Pro whose battery was dying. Needed to replace it.

My Fix

I have replaced batteries in the Pro before and it is a serious pain. The adhesive strips they use are very difficult to get off. The kit that came from iFixit was perfect for my needs. The replacement took me about 30 minutes all tolled.

My Advice

The adhesive remover is a much improved solution over the re-heatable gel pack, which did not work well for me. Using even less than recommended because I was concerned about seepage, I was able to easily remove all batteries. Hurray! Get the kit. You won't regret it.
