My Problem
My screen was broken and stopped responding to touch and my battery wasn't lasting very long.
My Fix
The repair went south. I replaced my battery, installed my new screen and upon testing to verify operation, my new screen did not respond to touch. Removed screen and inspected cable ports to see if I damaged them removing the broken screens cables and found corrosion on my circuit board. Two years ago I was kayaking and fell in with my phone. Two years my circuit board had a ghost that finally showed itself...
My Advice
If you're into water sports, get waterproof electronics.
