My Problem
I replaced my original iPhone battery due to lack of battery longevity. I've had the phone for 3 years now.
My Fix
The repair was very straight forward especially with the guide. Parts were great quality and the tool kit was nice.
My Advice
As with any mobile device, be very careful not to force anything. Prying of the screen, removing ribbons etc go slow and steady.
For the battery replacement I ended up breaking the adhesive as I tried to pull it around the battery. I found pulling the adhesive straight down (as close to the phone as possible) to the bottom of the phone (slow and steady) worked better. Fishing out the broken adhesive is not fun and easily added an extra 20 minutes to (in my opinion) a 10-15 minute job.
Also I did a basic power function check prior to closing the phone, nothing would be worse than reassembling completely and having the phone not work.
