My Problem

The trackpad on my Mid 2014 MBP had stopped physically clicking, after further inspection the issue turned out to be bulging battery cells, so time to replace the battery.

My Fix

The repair was super easy, all these newer Mac's are so easy to work on.

My Advice

My biggest advise would be to use the string method to remover the battery and not the adhesive solvent. I would almost guarantee this is how the apple techs are doing it as it's not only faster but reduces the risk of damage to other components and connectors as nothing else has to be removed.
