Memory and Storage Upgrade

My Problem

Aging iMac needed a caffeine shot. Maxed our memory and upgraded spinning disc with SSD. Like a brand new family computer again!

My Fix

Replaced the stock (x2) 4GB SO-DIMMS with (x2) 8GB, and 1TB spinning disc with a 512GB Crucial SSD. Offloaded bulk of iTunes library (400+GB by itself) to my NAS.

The procedures seemed daunting at first, but once I just dove in it was actually enjoyable. 100% success!

None! The procedures here are very thorough, and left literally no questions unanswered.
