My Problem
I had replaced the original back in December 2016 with a battery I bought on eBay. That only lasted 5 months before it would no longer hold a charge and would continually reboot. I'm a low to moderate user. I realize he phone is old by today's standards but decided to give it another go. I did some more research and decided to go with ifixit.com.
My Fix
Battery arrived on time and packing was excellent. Since I already had the tools from the 1st time, I ordered only the battery. After a quick refresher look at the how to video, I went at it and was done within 15 mins. So far the phone is working good and keeping a charge as expected. Hopefully, this will be the last battery for at least a year.
My Advice
Don't be afraid to make this repair. The videos are extremely helpful.
