My Problem
My original screen was cracked and Apple claimed they needed to update and restore my phone...I would not accept that. So I ended up doing the repair myself and everything worked great!
My Fix
The process can be rather intimidating, but following the instructions to the "T" makes the process less frustrating. Just making sure you have the right tools and everything went off without a hitch.
My Advice
Just take your time and have a steady hand; make sure you have all the right tools as well and just follow the directions one at a time.
