I replaced the Screen and Front assembly on my iPhone 6, but Touch ID broke :(

My Problem

I dropped my iPhone 6 in the garage and cracked the screen.

My Fix

I ordered the kit from ifixit and dove right into the installation. They're detailed guide walked me right through the process from soup to nuts. The only issue that I have now is that my Touch ID stopped working even after keeping my original home button.

My Advice

Go for it. As long as you have an organized and clean work surface so you don't lose any of the %#*@-near microscopic screws then there is no reason that most people couldn't do it.
