My Problem
I repaired an iPhone 6 due to a cracked display assembly.
My Fix
The repair process went along well however the first part I've received seemed to be defective do to screen glitching and the screen going black after minimum use. So after contacting iFixit about the matter, they instantly sent a replacement screen and redid the repair. It went perfect without a hitch.
My Advice
The only advice I do have is that an iOpener is not required to removing the flex cable for the home button to remove the LCD shield from the display assembly. there is a little pull tab attached to the cable. just use a flat tweezer to pull it up carefully and remove the adhesive under it.
