My Problem
My battery lasted 45 minutes and the laptop would shut off with no warning.
My Fix
Fantastic instructions! I completed the job in 2 hours. I did mess up the re-assembly and had to take the case back of to tighten down the screw connecting the battery to the motherboard. The first go the computer didn't find the battery. Second time it worked great.
My Advice
Follow the tips from others about using isopropyl alcohol to remove the sticky stuff holding the old battery pack in place. I used 1/4 teaspoon on each side, let it sit for 5-10 minutes, and then worked the wedge tool thing to pry up the battery. That was the hardest part. And slap on an episode of Star Trek while you're watching.
