My Problem
A friend's Xbox had a disc stuck in its drive. It would not eject it at all.
My Fix
The repair went well. I tinker with computers regularly so I was very comfortable playing with the innards of the console. My buddy and I sat around and cracked it open. It was smooth and surprisingly easy. The special drivers that were needed to remove the mental cover plate made that process much easier.
My Advice
Be patient with yourself if you aren't familiar with all the tools. Try using tools that make sense, and if don't be afraid to experiment with spudgers and the other opening tools.
