My Problem
My iMac of over 5 years recently experience an unexpected failure. Just weeks prior I had run the disk utility to check on it and it reported it was fine, only to fail later. This is our primary computer for our family
My Fix
It went well, the guide was informative, descriptive and accurate. Cannot thank iFixit for providing such guides. Did not want to shell out money for another iMac.
My Advice
You need two pairs of hands, especially when you have to hold up the display to unplug the cables. Also a good flash light comes in handy. All in all it was worth it and kudos to my assistant for helping me
