Rescued from the doghouse

My Problem

Playing around in the living room and landed on the couch ... right on top of wife's MacBook Air. Glass was intact, but the LCD screen cracked. iFixit got me out of the doghouse.

My Fix

iFixit video and step-by-step procedure let me know exactly what tools I needed (I lacked a couple), and how to do it. It made the complicated process easy to follow. There was sufficient guidance to avoid damaging sensitive areas.

My Advice

If you are going to wrestle with your kids, remove any computer equipment from the area. This was an expensive 'stupid tax' to pay. Second to that, follow iFixit advice on tools and procedure. Don't shortcut or use the wrong tools.
