My Problem
My iPhone 5s had an expanded battery that needed a major replacement.
My Fix
Following the instructions on opening the phone was easy. It was taking out the battery that was the difficult and scary part. The adhesive strips broke off, so I found your link on how to remove a stubborn battery. After gently prying the battery out I was able to continue the process and replace my battery.
My Advice
For someone who thought all hope was lost for my phone, I have never been so satisfied with a product until this. You don't need to be tech savvy to fix a phone, and the fact that this new battery life has a longer span without being on the charger is bliss. This was my first time trying ifixit. My friend suggested I go to you guys and said you were the best place to find something that needs fixing. The replacement kit took way longer than expected to arrive, but after seeing the phone work great I was okay. This site is great. Thanks for helping me save a lot of money.
