My Problem

Phone had been run over by a car and crushed the front panel.

My Fix

It went fine. You just have to take your time and pay very close attention to the process.

My Advice

I used a magnifying glass with the light coming in from the side to see what I was doing. One important point is with the new digitizer: the clear plastic bracket/housing on the proximity sensor should be carefully removed from the new part as the old one is probably still attached to your phone. This is the tiny plastic piece attached next to the light sensor.
