My Problem
My mother-in-law, known fondly to all in our family as Granny, was complaining that her hand-me-down iPhone 4 needed to be charged all the time. We're so happy she uses it for calls and texting. But it was getting to the point where she felt she couldn't rely on it.
My Fix
So I ordered a replacement battery from iFixit. I had done this same battery replacement on two other iPhone 4's years ago, so I was familiar with the steps but still relied on the great iFixit video (thanks, M.J.!) to guide me. Got it done in 10 minutes.
My Advice
So I'm able to give Granny the gift of longer life (well at least for her phone) for Christmas. It was quick, easy and rewarding!
