My Problem
So my friends IPhone 6 Plus was turned off for 3 years and she needed a new battery because it was dying at 40 %
My Fix
Haha, this was funny, so when I was trying to pull the battery out, I accidentally made a giant hole in the battery on the bottom where the glue was at. So I had to call my local repair shop and told them what happened and they told us to bring it to them or they would have a guy come out.
Once we got to the store, the guy was really surprised that it didn't blow up in flames while we were driving there. He had asked us to open the door and had to get a blow dryer out and heated the whole iPhone up to get the battery out and then he said that he had never seen a battery from this factory. So he was asking my friend a whole bunch of questions about where she bought it and if she got a refurbished phone after that.
My Advice
Don't poke a hole in your battery and be careful.
