My Problem
The digitizer cracked.
My Fix
I decided to replace my iPhone 5s battery with the battery kit they also sell. My screen was already cracked but working, so I figured I could pull the screen assembly off without breaking it even more. Well it broke even more. The battery replacement worked great! I overnighted their digitizer/ screen assembly and put it in the next day and my phone works great again!
My Advice
Highly recommend the iFixit kits! They work great. I've replaced the batteries on 2 iPhone 6+ as well with these kits and those phones still work great!
