My Problem

This MacBook pro was failing as soon as it was using all the power of the graphic card during the booting process.

My Fix

I discover marks of water damage on the board at the back of where is the GPU. Removed it chemically (I have my personal mixture that is as efficient as ultrasonic bath if not more). I removed the components and realised that one pad of the smaller capacitor was gone. After quick check in schematics, I realised that it has common track with the bigger capacitor. I solder them close to each other and created a bridge of solder. Build back and it works perfectly !!

My Advice

Water and electronics are not a good match.

Be careful ;-)
