Hard drive replacement looked daunting, but actually very easy.

My Problem

Replaced the hard drive.

My Fix

Despite the lengthy instructions the job was actually much easier than the old iMac with the glass that was held in with magnets. The adhesive strip kit came with the cutting tool that makes the job very easy.

My Advice

Definitely use the tape to hold the screen in place once you line it up. It makes it very easy to pivot the display away to peel the adhesive without screwing up the alignment. Otherwise it's really not difficult at all – thanks to iFixit.
