My Problem
iPhone 5s screen was shattered after a fall down the stairs.
My Fix
Following the teardown guide was easy and helpful. I've done previous iPhone repairs and they were never too difficult. Overall it took about 20-25 minutes to take out the existing Touch ID home button, put it in the new assembly, and reattach the assembly.
My Advice
I like to keep some scotch tape upside down to place the tiny screws on so they don't get lost.
