My Problem

My 6 year old MacBook Pro was running very slow.

My Fix

First off, I had NO IDEA which parts were compatible with my model. iFixit made that a non-issue with the very user friendly navigation site. They must have designed it with me in mind. After receiving my parts and watching a couple YouTube videos, I was off to the races and the repair went very smoothly.

My Advice

Make sure you clone or format your hard drive before you replace. Check how many RAM chips your computer takes. I didn't know I needed more than one.
