My Problem
I had wanted to add a large capacity HDD to complement my primary SSD,
My Fix
It went pretty smoothly, thanks to the guide! I consider myself pretty handy at figuring out devices I haven't worked on before. but the iFixit guide helped me disassemble my Mac Mini properly. There's a lot of hardware packed into a tiny space, and I'd hate to break anything.
My Advice
Always be careful with Apple hardware. Everything is usually carefully designed and placed, and there are usually small connectors that can be easy to miss. I definitely recommend checking the repair guides for whatever you're doing.
Even if you're pretty confident with repairs, there can always be small things you might miss that might risk bricking the unit, or at least giving you a big headache.
