My Problem
I carelessly put a small crack in my previous screen and after getting an estimate from a shifty guy at the Apple store I would have been better off replacing the whole Macbook. I'm in college and I need to save the money.
My Fix
The process was smooth and easy with excellent steps and pictures to help bulster confidence. This is the first time I've really opened up a piece of technology and I was initially very nervous. Now I am interested in doing it for other people for a significantly lower cost than your typical store.
My Advice
Do your research with pricing on repairs, but if you're comfortable with reading directions, this will be a cakewalk.
