My Problem
My pops dropped his phone... off of the roof!
My Fix
My pops has been using my old iPhone 5c for about a year (iFixit has been keeping it spiffy since '13). He was on the roof inspecting what we thought was a leak, and his phone came tumbling down to hit the sidewalk (3 stories). Screen was broken, battery cord was severed. iFixit manuals made the job quick and easy — the job took less than a half hour. I have used iFixit screens for 5 years and they are the best I've used. They are as good or better than factory parts.
My Advice
iFixit: Don't stop stocking 5c parts, else I may never need a new phone again!
