My Fix
My girlfriend's iPhone 5 battery was constantly dying. Her phone would randomly shut off around 80%. I researched a battery replacement and found iFixit. The battery replacement kit arrived a few days after I ordered it from the iFixit website. I was impressed with the kit and felt the replacement guide on the website was very helpful. I followed the directions to replace the battery. It was a snap.
My Advice
The kit had all of the materials needed. I felt the Phillips screw driver was too big for the small screws inside the the phone. Luckily I had a set of small screw drivers that I was able to utilize to remove the screws.
Also, save yourself a lot of time and struggle by only removing the battery. I had my girlfriend hold the screen while I replaced the battery. It is not necessary to remove the phone screen to replace the battery.
