My Problem
My 6s Plus was starting to die around 20% and was lasting only about half a day.
My Fix
So easy. Full disclosure: this was my first time taking apart a 6s Plus, but I've previously installed new batteries in other iPhones for myself, friends and family. This is probably the 8th iPhone I've dismantled and it seems to get easier every time. Follow the iFixit vids and guides and you'll be golden.
My Advice
Getting the screen off is the hardest part. It's held on with some adhesive sealant. Just keep pulling gently, yet firmly. It will come. Once you start unscrewing stuff, remember which screws go where - you will encounter multiple length and heads of screws and they need to go back where they belong. Lastly, as you reassemble, make sure to check that the screen, earpiece, selfie cam, and home button/Touch ID all work before closing up completely.
