My Problem
This was my second time to repair a cracked iPad2 screen, only this time I broke the wifi antenna in half while trying to pry away the screen. I knew this was a possibility but my first screen repair went smoothly so I might not have been so careful this time.
I removed the screen (already had that part) and immediately ordered the wifi antenna from ifixit
My Fix
Everything you need to know is on the guide. at first, it seemed like there were unnecessary steps but I later realized that the wifi antenna is in fact, "buried" underneath other components. Those components must be removed to access the antenna.
My Advice
Work slowly and carefully and follow the guide without interruption-you will do fine! I'm definitely no tech guru (mostly stay at home mom, but also a surgery RN-maybe that's what has helped me be successful in this repair!)but I think anyone can make repairs by using these guides and parts.
