Very smoothly. Only one screw extra when done, no idea where it came from... Seems to work fine.

My Advice

B screen actually looked like new. This repair went much better than when I tried to fix a 1st gen Kindle Fire (that failed miserably). I think they've made it much easier to repair. Only real hard part was prying the back cover off. Took me about 10 minutes. The instructions were perfect.
