2009 MacBook Pro Revived - SSD Swap / RAM Swap / Battery Swap

My Problem

After seven years, my mid 2009 MacBook Pro had become unusable due to the 5400 RPM hard drive slowing down. The battery status was also at "replace soon" and only lasted two hours maximum on a full charge. Lastly, my model came with 4GB of RAM which was plenty for 2009 but the standard is now 8GB.

My Fix

The repair went quickly and smoothly. I'm very happy with the results.

The battery now lasts over five hours instead of two.

My Advice

Watch as many tutorial and repair guide videos as possible before starting the repair.
