My Problem

In the specifications of the Mac the display was not recognized, indicating that it was damaged. The Mac could only be used on a separate display.

My Fix

Very good guide! Followed it step by step. Everything was perfectly explained! Display was ordered over Ifixit and was sent to Germany within 4 days. Although it was a used part, no signs of a usage could be found. The lifetime warranty on the part is absolutely great!

My Advice

Follow the instruction. Everything is perfectly explained. Used the plastic spudger to get the connecting parts of the display in the right position for reassembly to the body of the mac.
