My Problem
Not booting up. Display case hinge broke, won't stay open, flops around. Badly treated by a 12 y.o. boy. Thinking that the cable connecting display to process unit needs repair as well as hinges. Before I started I purchased the full IFIXIT tool kit and magnetic parts white board. Well worth the purchases. Makes the disassembly a lot easier. Must have the proper tools to do the work.
My Fix
Waiting for my son to get out of camp and we can then do it all together.
My Advice
Take your time. Be patient and extra careful.
