My Problem
Didn't hold charge for very long.
My Fix
As others say, most of the time is case removal. Take your time and work around left side and 2 corners. Battery clip is easy. Take your time prying up battery with care taken to wire behind it. Reverse process. Love that I can still have my 12000 song iPod back in service for gym overseas.
My Advice
I didn't need the recommended putty knife.
