My Problem
The battery on my 5c just wasn't lasting like it used to.
My Fix
I got the kit and everything was as promised. I was pleased with the replacement parts and glue tabs. I proceeded with the instructions and had it back together in an hour or so.
My Advice
Well those glue tabs on the battery were tricky to get off. The first one came off as planned. My witnesses were amazed as I pulled out at least a foot or two of the tabs from inside the phone. Then the second one just snapped right off before I could remove it. I tried with the sharp tipped tweezers to no avail. I used my own hot/cold clay pack to gently heat things up (didn't have the specialty iOpener). And gently pried it off. As always the detailed guides were a lifesaver. Thanks for putting the plan B option for the glue tabs so that I didn't have to go to the store with an open phone and my tail between my legs. Been a fan for years and as always excellent tear down instructions.
