Don't be intimated: I'm 73 years old It's not that complicated

Easy

My Problem

The original battery would no longer take a charge.

My Fix

It came off without a hitch.

My Advice

The hardest part was taking the cover off to get inside. I found if you held the iPod near the top, and put my fingers near the screen and then my thumbs on the back, the back metal cover popped back from the front part the the device. This made a small opening that I could put the tool in and work it around the device. After that the rest was a piece of cake. My old works great again and still looks brand new. I'm a happy camper again.
