My Problem
My son's phone had a damaged screen. We replaced that, and since the phone was over 2 years old, we replaced the battery as well.
My Fix
Things went well with the exception of one of the flex cables. It took some extra time to fit it in and get it to stay attached.
My Advice
The repair was pretty much as advertised. Follow the video and things should work well. Give yourself more time to complete the procedure.
