The hard drive died
My Fix
For this 50 year young woman who is not a tech geek by any means I think I did amazingly well.
I took it step by step and took my time. I was able to get the ipod open with minimal damage. and get the hard drive changed and back together and music downloaded on it within the hour. I was amazed and so thankful I did it myself oh and how proud I now am to say I Did it.
My Advice
Read the repair pages and look at the photos more that once and again while you are repairing. Take your time and it will work out better that you could have hoped for :)
