Battery replacement early 2015 macbook pro

My Problem

Customer got liquid in Mac, drying out worked but no battery reported! Figured battery board got zapped or there's a component that blows to prevent further damage.

My Fix

My iopener burst in the microwave after 2 heatings many minutes apart. It could and should be made better than that!

I was still able to cut the battery out using the plastic card and a sharp plastic prying tool almost like a giant spudger. Even proceeding slowly it did not take too long. Apple wanted $460 bucks for this repair!

They are crazy...

My Advice

Yes, stay away from Apple and their sub standard geniuses. I started out fixing Apple 1, 2, and 3's with an oscilloscope, soldering iron and the latest copy of the IC circuit handbook cause I'm an electrical engineer.
