My Problem

MacBook Pro 15 (mid 2012) Restarts randomly

My Fix

After using guides in iFixit to disassemble the mac and successfully applying thermal paste to the machine the problem of continuous and erratic rebooting remained. I decided to disassemble the machine to apply thermal paste and in the process clean up any dirt. From years of use the dirt and the paste were a MUST.

After reading an answer from lemerise about another mac that was also restarting randomly he suggested that the problem might be the power switch ...

Long story short I removed the power button with scissors and boot the mac from the "power-on-pads" and it now works even better than before the thermal paste for sure did a good job.

Obviously temporary fix will order the new top case part soon anyhow can still use my mac :)

My Advice
