Ninja Ducks are NEVER to be trusted. (Can't think of a sane title, sorry)

My Problem

I got this ipod used off of ebay for my mother's 60th birthday (last year), but the battery suddenly refused to charge about a month ago, so I decided to fix it as part of her Mother's Day gift.

My Fix

My right hand hurts. The tool I was using--what was it, "spudger"?-- was double-ended, so it tried to eat a little into my hand as I gauged the pressure required for the first snap to come undone. after that, I had to unscrew the bottom 2 screws off the board as the original battery's cord was tucked underneath, but other than that, pretty smooth.

My Advice

The same advice I give ANYONE repairing small electronics -- DON'T...EVER...RUSH.
