My Problem

My poor old battery would run down in 10 minutes, then recharge in 10 minutes, so I was tied to a charging cord, even in the car. The local battery store wants $40 for a new battery and another $40 to install it. Please.

My Fix

The procedure took less time than writing this is taking. I did rip the tab off the plastic sheet under the battery, but that's not a big deal. The little plastic prying tool rocks.

My Advice

Just follow the guide. Kudos to the author. It's a good idea to have something to put the little screws in while you work so they don't get lost and you can remember which one goes back in which hole. Tweezers are really helpful, especially for putting the little pressure connector back in place. You got this.
