Tools to repair iPad

My Problem

I bought an iPad 2 from eBay that need an overhaul. Bad digitizer, and battery needed replacing. Once I got inside the iPad I discovered the previous owner and had broken the connectors on the logic board that connects the digitizer.

My Fix

I had to replace the logic board, battery, Wifi antenna, and the digitizer on an iPad 2. I needed the tools to allow me to open the clamps that hold the ribbon cables in the logic board. The set of 2 Plastic Opening Tools worked like a champ. These tools are great for maybe a few uses but wouldn't recommend using them to do this kind of work all the time.

My Advice

My advice is to please let a professional do this kind of work if you're not experienced with this sort of thing. Very easy to really mess your device up!!!
