My Problem
The screen had multiple cracks & the Home button was missing. Everything else worked fine, though.
My Fix
Fairly smoothly with a couple rough spots:
1. Getting the first pick under the glass took a lot more force than I expected. I ended-up being patient and having to heat the area several times as I tried to get the tools in-place & break the adhesive.
2. Since the screen was broken in multiple places, it didn't come out in one piece. There were a couple of places that were cracked along the edge over the adhesive, and I had to carefully dig-out the shards with a screwdriver because each one was cemented to the frame.
My Advice
Patience and careful experimentation go a long way to a successful repair.
