My Problem
Battery had been draining very quickly and phone would die randomly for months (after replacing the screen last fall.) A week or so back the battery began to swell and had pushed the screen out quite a bit on the left side of the phone. Decided it was time to try something.
My Fix
I've replaced screens on a few Iphones (including this one) so I'm pretty familiar with the innards of these phones. This repair was fairly simple all the way around. The adhesive strips came off with minimum pressure and putting the new ones on didn't pose a big problem. All in all I'd rate this as easy.
My Advice
The repair guide (along with the separate repair guide for the adhesive strip install) is pretty thorough and provides a great walk through.
