My Problem
I was playing MW3 when all of a sudden my ps3 turned off. Instantly I knew I had gotten the YLOD. Gaming is my output, so I knew I had to fix it or buy a new one. Well I didn't have $200 lying around, so I knew a new one wasn't an option.
My Fix
The repair went fairly smooth. The kit came with everything I needed. Took about two hours.
My Advice
I have an original fat 40gb. The repair guide they offer is for a fat 60gb. The inside is definitely different. But all I did was search YouTube and found some videos. Follow the guide as much as you can tho. Only use the videos for things not listed in the guide.
