Fixed the lawnmower sound

My Problem

My daughter's Mac sounded like a lawnmower when it got hot.

My Fix

Repair was relatively straightforward following the guide on iFixit.

My Advice

Some of the steps refer to a #0 Philips but a smaller screwdriver works better. Watch out for the screws behind the memory cover. When replacing, use light pressure to get the threads started then firm pressure to be sure not to strip the heads when tightening.
