My Problem
My MacBook Pro 13 inch mid 2010 had a 256 GB Hard Drive that was full and slowing down my laptop. I found an affordable compatible 1 TB Hard Drive at iFixit and, along with a new battery so I would once again have hours of freedom from a cord, I purchased and replaced these parts with the use of the iFixit repair guides.
My Fix
The repair was easy. I did find a lot of dust in my computer, so that was cleaned as well!
My Advice
The best part was that with the new Hard Drive came a rubber case with a USB adaptor so that I could slip my old Hard Drive into it and plug it into my computer and I now have a 256 GB "External" Hard Drive!
