My Problem
The screen and digitizer was cracked.
My Fix
The repair went great with the help of this website and some patience. When I first plugged it in the screen didn't work right away but I kept it on charge for a while and after about 30 min it worked perfectly.
My Advice
The LCD screen was cracked and was leaking oil all over the phone. I was slightly worried at first about the oil. I laid out all the parts on a paper towel for a few days allowing them to dry. I asked a computer guy and he said just put it back to because oil is not a conductor. I will say probably the best way to keep up with the screws in order get some egg cartons and put one screw in each hole in order so when you put it back you just have to reverse how you put them in the egg crate.
