My Problem

Upgraded my Nexus 7 2nd gen to Android 5.0.2, and just like lots of other people (apparently) it bricked. No fixing it, and of course it was out of warranty.

My Fix

It went well, the biggest problem I had was step 3 and the zif socket, had to look elsewhere to find out I had to flip up the white portion. Once I did that, the rest went perfectly, replaced the motherboard, put everything together again, and IT WORKS!!!! I'm so happy, I love that tablet!

My Advice

I wasn't as careful as I should have been taking the back cover off, so I cracked it. I do have a good case for it, however, so it'll be fine.
