My Problem
The A and B buttons were corroded because of a spill.
My Fix
I bought a new motherboard, the first one sent was damaged. I called iFixit and they quickly sent me a new one with a shipping label. I was very satisfied with how quickly iFixit helped me.
My Advice
Make sure you don't lose ANY of the little parts that the 3DS has.
